From HAWLEYWOOD PRODUCTIONS and ANARCHY PICTURES, this short was created 3 years ago - finally today I was given the original AVI file to create WMV versions, so I thought I'd upload them and let you see.

Oh, you can also get it on DVD! But I doubt you'd want too [img]wink.gif[/img] It's okay for a small piece of work, and it landed my friend (Ryan) a very good co-orporate video job! None the less, enjoy...

Its pretty slick.
Thought all the titles were a bit long winded, and the story took too long to get going - so I fast forwarded....to a more interesting bit.
The little effects, like scratchy black and white, jump cuts, and odd angles etc worked well to keep me interested.
The acting and script seemed poor, the story was alright. The effects were adequate and exciting enough, the lighting was good, the camera work a wee bit uncertain to start with, the cars made it look more expensive than it probably was.
Technically pretty good, but otherwise a bit dull.
Still its infinitley better than my attempts.

Thanks for posting! It was a fun little short. I really liked some of the camera work, and your night shots came out really well. The vibe of the Enigma song really gives the story a cool vibe.

One question... what's the significance of the "Phoenix of Film Companies"?

Yea I didn't really like it. The story/script part that is. But you got to ride a few nice cars so I guess it's allright.
